Psalm 127:5

“Blessed is the man
who fills his quiver with them [children]!
He shall not be put to shame
when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”

So, if you’re wondering why I have been a little MIA from the social media world it’s because we have been pretty occupied with a small, adorable, sweet, precious and perfect little boy. We welcomed Abel Tyndale Woodall into this world on June 28, 2017. I have another birthday to add to the memory bank! With the birthday’s, social security numbers, doctors appointments, phone numbers and every day life happenings I often have to think about the birthday’s for a good minute before feeling confident that I have remembered correctly. 🙂 YES, I have mom brain often. I wouldn’t have it any other way!!!

Abel is number four and loved by his big brothers and sister. They were so excited to meet him! Tommy and I are trying to cultivate a home of love and kindness rooted in the cross of Christ. We hope that as our children grow they see how mommy and daddy love and that The Lord gives them a desire to love as well. We praise The Lord for so many answered prayers this pregnancy and delivery. Through the prayers of so many Abel is Cystic Fibrosis FREE! And there was no scientific explanation for the polyhydraminos or other complications. We had a quick and successful labor and delivery. Our hearts are so thankful.

Many have asked how we came up with Abel’s name. We like the story from Genesis of Cain and Abel. That’s how we chose Abel. His middle name Tyndale (no it is not a family name) is after William Tyndale, an English scholar who became a leading figure in Protestant reform in the years leading up to his execution. Tyndale is often referred to as the “Father of the English Bible.” Tyndale’s translation was the first English Bible to draw directly from Hebrew and Greek texts. He had a burning desire to make the Bible available to the common people, in their common language, in England. At the time this was illegal, hence his execution, but we are thankful for his perseverance. This desire to proclaim the name of Christ to all peoples is one that we have as well. We are overcome by the power of the Gospel and so thankful God has preserved his word throughout the generations. Didn’t think you’d get a little history lesson today did you? Look Tyndale up he’s a pretty intriguing man.

Here a just a few pics of our new little one at the hospital and our arrival home! Hope you enjoy and these put a smile on your face today.

Nana is beyond over-joyed. 🙂

WE ARE HOME!!! Cora is already little “Miss Mom” at this point. She simply cannot get enough of him!

A visit from my BESTIES! Love that these friends sacrifice so much to come visit me and love on me so often. They are such an example of true friendship to me and I cherish these moments and love their souls so much!! I pray often that The Lord bless them for how they love our ever growing family.
