Alex + Landon Scott
A Winter Wedding

filed in

You guys! I just can’t even begin to describe how much I LOVED this day. One of the biggest reasons why is that I got to witness this beautiful union before our Great God with my husband Tommy. Tommy has joined Whitney Woodall Photography and we are officially a husband and wife team!!! I’m literally jumping up and down as I type this good good news! Ever since Tommy and I got married he always said that our goal should be to work together and we did just that. I praise The Lord for this husband of mine and how he supports me and loves me.

Alex and Landon are incredible. They are so personable, joyous, humorous… I could go on and on. Working with these two was so fun. Before booking their wedding I had no clue just all the different connections we had. From knowing so many of the same people, attending the same church (at different times), having mutual friends and to living in the same city I think we just found ourselves some new friends! Tommy and I so enjoyed taking part in their BIG DAY.

I was so impressed by Alex’s creative side as well. She designed the invitations and signage for their wedding. I love little details like this. As I wrapped up shooting the details and we headed outside for some portraits guess what happened!?!? It started snowing! Though it was just a few flurries here and there if you look close enough in the pictures at the church you can see some snow flakes. I’m not going to lie, I was secretly hoping we would have a huge snow fall. It would have been so cute to see the girls all wrapped up in their shawls amidst the snow, but I’m pretty sure they were glad it wasn’t. It was SO COLD. The whole bridal party was awesome when it came to going outside. They were such troopers. They suffered the freezing cold so well and we were able to get so many fun shots.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Scott! Enjoy your warm weather in Mexico! Maybe you two can cuddle up under an umbrella and enjoy the many memories made on your wedding day as  you look at this post. Enjoy!
