Where do I even begin! These two are such a joy. You can’t help but smile when you are around them listening to their conversations and laughter. They are “that couple” with an infectious joy. It has been a long while since I have blogged because in all honesty I haven’t had the time! I […]

What a beautiful wedding in Louisville, Kentucky!!! It was classic and beautiful with such sweet personal touches. From Kathryn’s personally designed invitations to their Jackson inspired cake topper and drinks they added so many neat personal touches to their wedding day! So much thought went behind all the details and we were so honored to […]

One of the things I love most about being a photograph is the opportunity to document sweet moments not only for my immediate family, but for my extended family as well. This sweet maternity session is of Bekah (Tommy’s sister) and her hubby Nathan (who is known as Uncle Grizz to our clan). On part […]

This Cedars at Carr Farm wedding was such a beautiful day! It was perfect weather and there were so many sweet moments. Both Mercedez and James handled this day with such grace. We have been so fortunate to have hilarious families to work with the past few weddings. There were many times I was bent […]

Life gets pretty crazy busy when you are trying to juggle operating a small business, homeschooling/raising four small children, converting a school bus into an RV (aka a Skoolie) and doing […]

I love this family so much!! Getting to capture this sweet season for them was such a joy. We’ve gotten to watch Micah grow up so much and witness his personality developing. He loves his mommy and daddy so much and was such a big boy for this FREEZING cold session. He didn’t fuss a […]

5 Tips for a Perfect Wedding Day Timeline

More ABOUT US

I'm Whitney Woodall, head photographer here at Whitney Woodall Photography. I believe in the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. Tommy, my hubby, is my main supporter and encourager. We are a husband and wife team based in Nashville, TN.

When we're not photographing weddings, you can find us traveling, loving on our kiddos, drinking coffee, me sporting the messy bun and Tommy playing some sort of musical instrument. We are all about perspective. Charles Spurgeon said, “It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.” This sums it up pretty good. We love how Christ at the cross puts everything into perspective for us.
