Oh Kentucky Lake… how we so enjoy you!

This year’s Woodall Family Vacation was at Uncle Phil and Aunt Candace’s house! Gray (our second son) literally asks everyday to go to Uncle Phil’s house. He does this right after changing into his swim trunks… EVERY morning! The lake provides the kids with freedom and fun while the adults enjoy some relaxation and chill time. I love this ever growing family of mine and can’t begin to describe in words what a blessing this family is.

There are seven siblings and now all are married and a little over half have kids! It obvious that our family get together’s are just big awesome parties. I feel like today it’s rare to find families that truly love each other and enjoy one another the way we do. We ALL make the effort to be together and don’t mind just hanging out. With the crew coming in from California this family vaca was complete in so many ways. I love when we are all in one spot. We do a great deal of traveling throughout the year to make our rounds and it always seems like there’s just one family missing so this time was special. We were all together. Cue my tears and emotions 🙂 I tend to get pretty sappy when the family is together. Tommy laughs and we attribute the tears to hormones considering I’ve usually been pregnant or nursing these last 5 1/2 years. HA!

From sitting on the dock to wake boarding on the lake fun was had by all. The kids swam, learned how to make canon balls, kayaked, camped out, went tubing/wake boarding and caught frogs. Thanks to Uncle Grizz they also took turns being catapulted in the water. Our kids have some pretty awesome aunts and uncles. I love that they let me get some group shots since we were all in one place. Getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time and smile… didn’t happen, but we got close!

I know I always go overboard with pics, but give me a break there are seven siblings plus their families! 😉 Enjoy.
