JLM Couture Designer Allison Webb
Nashville Runway Show at White Dresses

filed in

This past Thursday Whitney Woodall Photography had the honor of covering the JLM Couture Designer Allison Webb Runway Show at White Dresses Nashville. To say we had fun would be an understatement! Photographing the Nashville Runway Show for Allison Webb was amazing. Her whole team was such a joy to work with and made our job easy. There were so many wonderful people and companies that made this night happen. The fact that all involved were such a joy to work with was truly a blessing. I love this wedding industry and the community we have in it.

There were many fun aspects of this show, but there was one that had us signing waiver forms. Jessica Mack from the CMT show Music City was present for the runway show. This meant CMT was there with the all the camera crew and it made for such a fun atmosphere. Jessica was so sweet and I loved being able to capture her reactions and expressions as she viewed all the different dresses. My favorite moment was at the end of the show when Jessica met Allison Webb. It was precious. Jessica’s smile was so big and full of excitement. Just as Jessica loved meeting Allison Webb I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her as well! She was so poised and sweet. I loved asking her about her gowns and to pick a favorite. She responded with, “They are like my children, it’s too hard for me to pick just one. I literally have poured my sweat, blood and tears into these gowns.” Her dedication and work ethic was so apparent in just a brief time of meeting that night. It made photographing the show all the more special.

Please take a moment and view Allison Webb’s work and I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do! Below is a list of those involved in this show and also a little bit about Allison Webb herself! A little about Allison Webb

Allison Webb is the head designer of her namesake bridal collection, Allison Webb, as well as the Ti Adora by Allison Webb collection. Her exquisitely crafted embroideries and attention to detail create an aesthetic that is the epitome of modern romance.

Born and raised in Georgia, Allison attended the University of Georgia and then moved to New York City where she received a Degree from Parsons in Fashion Design. Her southern roots are evident in the soft femininity of her designs.

Allison began her career interning at Chado Ralph Rucci where she witnessed the art of true couture dressmaking firsthand.  Her devotion to luxury craftsmanship led her to the studio of Oscar de la Renta where she spent a year working alongside Oscar and his design team.  Soon after, Allison worked for J.Crew, helping with their ready-to-wear and bridal collections and later becoming their embellishment designer.  Allison’s career progressed with roles at Tory Burch and ANN INC., where she designed luxury embellishments and bridal gowns, respectively.
