A Nashville Riverfront Engagement

After Kristen and Brendan’s destination engagement, here in Nashville, I feel like early morning sessions should be a must! It was quiet (for Nashville), not brutally hot and we had great light!! After reading their wedding questionnaire I knew that these two wouldn’t mind the early morning session, as one of Brendan’s favorite attributes about Kristen is her spontaneity. They were both so easy going and I LOVED our morning together.

I also LOVE their story. These two met while studying abroad in Rome, Italy. Their relationship officially started about 3 weeks before they were to head back to the states. Kristen is from Arizona and Brendan is from New York, so they had a long distance relationship for about a year and a half until he moved to Arizona. Now they are together in Arizona and planning their wedding that will take place here in Nashville, TN! I am beyond excited for their destination wedding and was thrilled that we could make a destination engagement work as well. Kristen specially requested the bridge and river front and I’m so glad she did. The morning was so wonderful and I cannot wait for their wedding.

Their wedding will be stunning being that it is at one of my favorite venues, Long Hollow Gardens! I knew Kristen was my kind of bride when she stressed the importance of photography and florals. I’m eager for their wedding day and know it will be just beautiful. I am so honored that I will be able to capture it for them. When a bride trusts me it is such an encouragement to my soul.
